It's crucial to keep functionality in mind and incorporate the kitchen ‘work triangle'. Take a look at your kitchen plan and draw lines between the three points of the work triangle. Is there a disproportionate distance between each of the three points? If so some adjustments may be needed. This week we have transformed a tired kitchen into a kitchen the owner is now very proud of (see pictures below). We removed all the old wall tiles and replaced them with square colourful tiles, arranged in a random pattern. Tiles are often used for kitchen splash backs because they are durable, easy to clean and come in a variety of colours and patterns.
