Fencing was part of this garden design in Fleet, Hampshire. The newly designed garden required a considerable amount of fencing to replace the dilapidated boundary fencing. To complete this garden, feather edge panel fencing was erected along the road side with new brick piers and gate along with neighbour side fencing. Trellis work was proposed for this garden to help disguise a large surface area of retaining walls. An old concrete wall required replacement with a new 1.80m high feather edge fence helping the client to gain additional privacy from their neighbours.
A small driveway in E. Sussex. The remit here supplied by the client was for a block paved driveway to replace their existing old concrete hard standing and pathway. The original width and levels of the driveway made for difficult access. The new driveway layout reduced the fall down into the driveway and with increased width, easier access. Combined driveway and landscaping greatly improved the practicality and aesthetics of this front garden in Farnham, Surrey. With a new enlarged driveway using red ornamental aggregate for a bold effect, sleeper retaining walls, fencing, brick gate piers including gates and turfing all combined for a complete front garden design.
For the majority of lawns that we lay we recommend the use of Rolawn Medallion turf or similar. Britain's biggest selling and most frequently specified turf. A hard wearing, slow growing, drought tolerant premium quality turf. Approximately 400tn of topsoil was imported into the site to aid the establishment of the grass. Circular timber decking features strongly within this garden design in Fleet, Hampshire. The client approached us with an open remit for the design with the only consession being the existing paved terrace area would remain. A large circular timber deck was mirrored by two brick edged circular lawn areas with adjoined pathways. Southern Yellow Pine timber decking was used within this garden design in Liphook, Hampshire in a previously unused and difficult area of the garden. Other works here included a terraced circular lawn, semi circular brick steps, paving and shingled areas.
Refurbishment of an old terrace in Dippenhall, Surrey. A new much larger paved terrace was proposed and laid using reclaimed Yorkstone flagstones, very much in keeping and sympathetic to the house and garden style. Adjoining pathways were also laid leading you out into the garden and to other new paved areas. A medium to large rear garden design in Fleet, Hampshire including timber decking, natural stone paving, granite sett pathways, planting, garden lighting and fencing. Areas were designed for seating, dining and entertaining for the summer months with the inclusion of an edged lawn and trampoline area for the children.
Clearance of outbuildings, trees, glass houses and a multitude of general rubbish was cleared from this site in Farnham, Surrey, before we could start construction of the garden. The garden was later levelled, top soiled and re-turfed with the addition of boundary willow hurdle fencing.
On the completion of this garden in Dippenhall, Surrey, large areas of the garden required clearing, re-contouring, top soiling and re-seeding. A rear garden in Hook, Hampshire re-turfed and planted after soil strip and importation of top soil. To improve the establishment of the new turf and proposed planting the existing clay soil was striped allowing for the importation of top soil. To enable the construction of this garden in Basingstoke, Hampshire, we had to dig our selves in to get access.
Kota Purbeck stone paving was the clients final choice for this edged circular paved area. Its subtle pastel shades complemented well with the timber decking and white house. An extensive rear garden terrace refurbishment in reclaimed yorkstone paving in Dippenhall, Surrey. The original terrace had fallen into disrepair and become very unsafe to use. The choice of a traditional English paving was important for this project to complement the house style and surroundings. With the back drop of a white cottage style house a courtyard style paved terrace was proposed, with a mixture of paving types including terracotta tiles, yorkstone paving, clay brick paver detail and path edging.
