Daly Renewable Energy Systems is an engineer-led company committed to designing low energy efficient renewable energy systems for homes, businesses, public and social amenities. We combine renewable technologies, designing bespoke systems to meet the needs of our clients and their particular project. Daly is accredited and associated with all the major renewable energy bodies, including MCS, RECC, and the Ground Source Heat Pump association. Daly designs bespoke Renewable Energy Systems and manages the full process of installing, commissioning and maintaining to ensure optimum performance of every system.

Daly was founded in 2010 by Environmental Engineer, Ryan Daly. Having learned the industry quite literally from the ground up commissioning and often times re-engineering systems, Ryan saw a gap for an engineer-led integrated approach to renewable energy systems. In the last 7 years, the company has consolidated its position as a key player in the market in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and has expanded operations into Scotland. With an engineer-led approach to the design and installation of renewable energy systems, you can be assured of a system that is designed to best suit your needs.

Heating Control is central to the management and efficiency of your renewable energy heating system and cuts out the need for thermometers in each room. We install a simple heat control system which allows you to monitor your output. Your home should be run at an ambient temperature of 21°C with bedrooms a little lower at 18°C. Heating Control units also enable you to adapt your settings for when you are going on holiday. Heating controls are relatively inexpensive and ensure you are managing your renewable energy system effectively.

Solar Thermal provides up to 60% of a typical Ireland or UK's household's hot water needs and is a good renewable energy solution in houses where there is a higher than normal hot water requirement. Solar panels are at their maximum efficiency when they are mounted on unobstructed south facing roofs at an angle of 30-50 degrees. Roth, our supplier, supply the complete components from the panels right through to the pumping station and control module, to enable a cohesive and properly commissioned system.

Heat Pumps draw heat from the environment using the conventional refrigeration cycle to produce more energy than they consume. They are an extremely effective and efficient way to not only heat your home but produce all your hot water. Daly work with a number of suppliers, including Ecoforest, Dimplex and Hitachi so that we can design and install renewable energy systems that best suits your needs. Ground Source Heat Pump Systems rely on the energy absorbed from the sun and rainwater penetration to keep the ground re-energised, which in the UK and Ireland results in a fairly constant temperature of about 8-12°C.

Underfloor Heating releases a constant ambient heat, unlike the intense heat we are used to with conventional radiators. This means goodbye to the days of waiting for the house to warm up when the kids come in from school or you come in from work in the evenings. There are many myths about underfloor heating brought about by years of poor planning, workmanship and lack of understanding. At Daly, our mission is to explore those myths and educate people on the efficiency and many benefits underfloor heating that is installed and commissioned properly can give.

Ryan i contacted you on wed 22/2/17 about a water leak we had at a elbow union our main tank you came and looked at this on mon 27/2/17 you said then yous would be in area in next couple of weeks (no contact made) Then contacted you again on tue 2/5/17 you replied you would be in area week starting 15/5/17 ( no contact made ) Your fitter contacted me in september as he was doing a job in my area i was unable to leave work at drop of a hat as no contact had been made to let him into house. He then said it wasnt a problem as you were starting a job in area couple of weeks ( no contact made) Its now 11/12/17 and still not fixed as ive giving you plenty of time to resolve this issue it seems that DALY renewables is only interested in new projects and not resolving problems

I've wanted to build my own house since my late teens and part of that has always been to make the house as self sustainable as possible. This obviously includes making the heating system as energy efficient as possible and although there are environmental benefits to it; I simply hate waste and the costs associated with it.

From the very start of our build we knew we wanted a more efficient heating system than the oil boiler we were used too but we had no idea what we could realistically achieve or afford. Daly Renewables came recommended to us from our timber frame company, Kudos, and after some research and speaking to some of Daly's existing clients we knew they were the right company to work with.
