As an innovator, RTU introduced Factory Produced (Tubbed) Mortar in 1992, Ultraflo hemihydrate floor screed in 2008, Exposa decorative concrete in 2013, Ultracem cement liquid screed and Zircon, a decorative concrete for polished floors in 2020. Our advanced batching plant has the capacity to produce over 90m3 of concrete per hour and our quality control systems ensure a perfect product is delivered every time. RTU is also passionate about the environment and at our recycling plant we reduce, recycle and reuse materials whenever possible.

It is an aesthetically pleasing alternative to traditional paving, asphalt, tarmac and loose gravel. The perfect partner for underfloor heating, Ultraflo is a unique hemihydrate liquid floor screed, tried and tested by thousands of satisfied customers throughout Northern Ireland, Ireland and the Isle of Man. Our next generation cement liquid screed - Ultracem is a Portland cement-based, pump applied liquid floor screed that excels due to fast-track qualities, and the speed and ease of install over traditional sand:cement screeds.

RTU is now one of the top suppliers of concrete to the Northern Ireland construction and self-build industry. Our ready-mix concrete is supplied according to a customer's design mix specification. As a multi-purpose product, we offer a great variety of mixes to meet the many challenges of modern construction including pumped, air-entrained, fibre re-enforced, waterproofed, eco-friendly and foamed.

Our traditional and high-performance screeds are produced in a range of strengths, and are available as sand/cement, fibre, polymer modified and quick drying. RTU is committed to providing the perfect floor screed to meet the varying demands within the commercial, industrial, residential and public sectors across Northern Ireland. We not only offer a conventional and modified floor screed, but also a hugely successful hemihydrate liquid floor screed, Ultraflo. Our sand:cement screed is a high quality screed incorporating a cement set retarder to allow the screed to remain workable for up to 8 hours.
