Established in Edinburgh in 1983 by Jack Oberlander and David Lawson, we have grown steadily and now have studios in Edinburgh, Oxford, Ardgay and Galashiels. We are committed to contextual, timeless, inspiring and simple, elegant design solutions which are also technically competent, prudent, practical and deliverable.
Oberlanders is an established, multi-award winning architectural practice. Based in Edinburgh, Oxford, Ardgay and Galashiels, we handle projects throughout the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe. Our studios have a strong team spirit that is based on creativity, good humour, trust and respect. We have a healthy mix of experienced Architects combined with up and coming talent. Younger Architects are always encouraged to take on as much responsibility as they can and to progress their education under our training programme to secure RIBA Part 2 or 3 qualification as soon as is practically possible.
