Chris Carter Architecture is a Winchester based Architectural Practice offering high quality yet personal support to clients undertaking a range of residential and commercial projects across Southern England and the Channel Islands. Since opening in 1995, working with a small team the practice offers both private and commercial clients Architectural Services including design, planning applications, building regulations, contract administration, project management and contract administration. We undertake projects within the urban fabric, countryside and local South Downs and New Forest National Parks.

Many of our private clients have never procured a building or worked with an Architect before but with our guidance the experience is both fun and rewarding. We believe our role is to assist our clients in the realisation of their building aspirations through quality design and understanding of their needs.
We undertake new build residential projects for commercial developers, private individuals and self builders either as replacement dwellings or infill developments. All our designs are bespoke, drawing on specific site influences and client requirements to produce high quality desirable buildings. All of our new extension projects include an element of refurbishment whether it is a new boiler, replacement windows or sorting out minor building issues such as cracked or missing roof tiles. When engaged to work on a building we will look at it in it's entirety and advise on the best and most cost effective way to update it if needs be.
