Hi-Level are specialists when it comes to industrial and public-use mezzanine staircases. We offer bespoke designs which are available in a wide range of colours to ensure that the mezzanine is perfectly suited to your individual requirements. We maintain consistent quality standards as all our mezzanine stairs are powder coated to give a highly durable finish with excellent gloss retention. As part of our ongoing commitment to health and safety, our approved inspector will advise you on all the relevant Building Regulations.

Hi-Level's industrial mezzanine floors have become increasingly popular with production and manufacturing companies as the drive to increase productivity and flexibility from existing facilities gathers pace. With over 28 years' experience designing and manufacturing mezzanine floors, Hi Level's dedicated team will increase the productivity of your production facility. Our structural steel mezzanine floors are capable of withstanding the substantial loads placed upon them by manufacturing, including entire assembly and production lines.

The purpose of fire protection is to slow the spread of fire and maintain structural integrity long enough to allow safe exit by employees and entry to fire fighters should a person or persons need rescuing. We provide fire protection for circumstances where the mezzanine is used for anything other than storage, such as for offices or public use. Our appointed specialist will advise whether fire protection is required and to what extent based on UK Building Regulations. Several factors are taken into consideration to minimise risk to yourself and the mezzanine.

Make the most of the unused headroom in your commercial or industrial space with a mezzanine floor. Hi-Level's flooring solutions transform wasted space into productive offices and storage space with minimal disruption. We offer a comprehensive construction service, from initial quote to production and installation. If your business in growing, a mezzanine floor can allow you to expand considerably within your existing premises. This cost-effective use of space can help create or expand your offices and future proof your premises.

A mezzanine floor is a self-supporting structure that permits an extra floor within or around a previously constructed building. Usually not covering a building's whole floor space, mezzanines can be modified and even removed if requirements change. Although built to last, mezzanines can be utilised as a temporary or semi-permanent structure. At Hi-Level, we are approaching our 30th year designing unique, custom-made mezzanine structures. With our in-house structural engineering team, a large range of products, and a value-engineered approach - with a focus on minimising the amount of steel we use - we provide a market-leading mezzanine solution that is cost-effective and less impactful on the environment.

Hi-Level's designs are modern and innovative, and incorporate the highest quality finish in a range of colours. Each Hi-Level floor includes the latest in lightweight steel structures, high quality powder coated ancillaries and fully integrated edge protection systems. Whether your new floor is small and straight-forward or multi-tiered and complex, our attention to detail is the same. Designed by Chartered and Structural Engineers, every floor is bespoke, taking into account the unique requirements of each site, such as loading, access and site conditions, as well as safety, access and fire regulations.

Installation is carried out through our network of specialist, locally based teams, experienced and qualified in the handling and erection of mezzanine floors. All team members operate to appropriate site safety protocols approved and monitored by our appointed health and safety consultant. Hi-Level has even developed its enhanced Netsafe system of safety procedures to address the unique risks associated with the installation of complex structures within existing buildings. Operatives are fully insured and trained to operate required equipment and are certified to nationally approved standards.

Whether you need a seamless addition to your sales floor, more back-of-shop storage or extended office space, a mezzanine floor can be your most flexible and cost-effective option. Hi-Level specialise in fitting retail mezzanine floors. We have experience designing and installing mezzanines in showrooms, stores and retail units. They maximise head room and provide extra floor space to showcase new products without having to relocate to larger premises. We understand that when it comes to bricks-and-mortar retail, footfall is essential.

Our structural steel floors are capable of withstanding substantial weight loads and are adaptable to suit your specific requirements. Designed by our in-house structural engineering team, we provide value-engineered solutions that optimise the amount of steel we use. We understand the importance of customising your mezzanine floor to suit the exact specifications of your premises. Our diverse range of flooring and ancillary options ensure we can solve your space-related challenges. We design bespoke mezzanines and can help match your corporate identity with our custom colour option.

Hi-Level takes full responsibility for ensuring that your mezzanine floor is designed in compliance with current Building Regulations, quality standards, best practice guidance and fire regulations. We also take care of submitting plans to achieve the required consents. In general, planning permission is not needed to install an interior mezzanine. The only time you would need to get planning permission first is if the mezzanine will increase the floor space of a retail setting by 200 square metres or more, or if the mezzanine will require any changes to the exterior of the site in order to accommodate it.
