Pure water is desperate to get back to its natural state therefore it draws particles of dirt off the glass being cleaned. When rinsed all that is left on the glass is pure water which dries clear. No detergents are used to cause a key for the next months dirt. Therefore the glass remains cleaner for longer. Also no detergents mean less damage to the environment.
