The Green Cleaner

The Green Cleaner is a green cleaning introduction agency - we introduce you to cleaners that are referenced, vetted, experienced and able to provide you with a high standard of cleaning without using chemicals, giving you a cleaner, healthier home.

Our greener thinking cleaners can recycle, reduce waste and do the small things like remembering to switch everything off! Once we have met you and assessed your requirements, we will introduce you to a cleaner according to the days, times and service you need. In terms of payment, you pay your cleaner the agreed hourly rate directly and our agency fee to us monthly by standing order. We are so confident that you will love our service that if you are having a regular weekly or fortnightly clean, we won't start charging you our agency fee until after you have had your first clean and are happy with your cleaner.

As well as the 'everything must be bleached' perception, one of the reasons lots of our friends weren't green cleaning was a lack of understanding of what green cleaning is, a lack of knowing why it is so important and also lack of knowing which green products work and which don't combined with a lack of time to investigate. We hope to answer these questions for you and show you that it is easy to clean without using products that contain harsh chemicals, phosphates, sulphates, parabens, artificial perfume or fragrances and general nasties, and why it is so important.

We believe that it's important to have the same cleaner every week. Your cleaner will get to know you, your preferences and idiosyncrasies and you'll build a relationship even if you never see each other! All of our cleaners are thoroughly vetted. We interview them in their own homes, choosing, vetting and checking them as if they were going to work in our homes - in fact one of our checks is 'would we give them the key to our home?' If we wouldn't, we don't take them on and believe me, we're fussy!
