My father and I created the brand Starshine Dry Cleaners back in 2004, when we set-up our flagship premises in Welling, London. Dry cleaning uses fluids to remove soils and stains from fabrics. Among the advantages of dry cleaning is its ability to dissolve grease and oils in a way that water cannot. Natural fibers such as wools and silks dry clean beautifully, but can shrink, distort, and lose color when washed in water. Synthetic fibers like polyester also respond well to dry cleaning, whereas they can retain oily stains after washing. After we professionally steam and press each item, we ensure that there are no loose or cracked buttons.

avoid Starshine Dry Cleaners at at 3-6 Penny Brookes Street. They damaged a bunch of my expensive shirts and told me they can't fix, then added that they will investigate further and if THEY decide I'm right, they will refund me 10 times the cleaning witch is £22.50, but they were 90£ shirts each. Everyone can make mistakes, but if they don't take the responsability, it means it is not a good place to bring your money to.

Absolutely brilliant service! I had a mild emergency, they understood, agreed to help and didn't only not charge me extra, charged me the minimum. I can't thank them enough, nor question the quality of their work, which was exceptional.

I needed some trousers tailored urgently in 2 days and the tailor could tell I was a little bit stressed about getting it perfectly right. He gave me his recommendations but also listened to me and fit them to my liking. Instead of telling me to collect it tomorrow, he said wait here for about 10 minutes and just finished the whole alteration on the spot. On top of that he told his colleague to iron them and not to charge me the express fee either. Very quick, efficient service and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
Awful dry cleaners - they don't dry clean they put it in a machine. Shrunk one jumper of mine to the size of a 3 years olds, came back matted and bin worthy. They tried to dispute it. I tried them again with three (Very high quality) scarves. One came back shrunk to the size of a napkin and with the colours leaked - they asked for photos of it before and said it wasn't them. I wrote to the head office - no reaponse. Shambolic dry cleaners that should be avoided at all costs. Tempting due to the reasonable prices, ends up costing a fortune as you'll need to replace all your clothes!
They did an excellent job on my stained shirt, and gave me great tips for my work shoe. Highly recommend. Thanks guys.
I am very very disappointed. Every month something happen to my clothes I bring to your shop in Stratford. Staff taking note on stains to be cleaned and I receive them back with the same problem with any note what so ever. Enough of this, my patience and kindness has been taken for granted. I WAS your regular customer, now I switch.
