The Herdman Family Carpet Shop in St Margarets, Twickenham was first formed in 1987, and has built a reputation as a very professional family business since then. After 32 years in business, we pride ourselves that we are truly a family concern and at least 9 of our 10 staff are family members. We are members of the Guild of Master Craftsmen and care about our customers and the service they receive. In 2006 after 20 years at 24 Crown Road, we moved to our new Showroom at 35 Crown Road, just across the road from the original shop.
We supply all types of Wood Flooring, including Solid Wood, Engineered and Laminate Flooring. Within our Wood Floor Studio we have displays and samples of V4, Goodfellow, Furlong, Kersaint Cobb manufacturers. We encourage our customers to take as many samples home and look at them in the comfort of their own home with their decor before making any decisions. We are also happy to bring wood flooring samples to you when we come out to estimate.
We supply all types of Carpets, Safety Flooring and Carpet Tiles for Commercial locations such as schools, offices, retails outlets, surgeries and care homes etc. Within our Showroom we have displays and samples of Joseph Hamilton & Seaton (JHS) carpets & tiles, Tretford carpets & tiles, Gradius, Karndean Design Flooring, Polyflor & Altro Safety Flooring, Windmoller and many more.
We undertake all flooring work, from a small bathroom to large commercial contracts such as schools, colleges and residential care homes. Supplying and fitting all types of Carpet, Vinyl, Marmoleum, Cork, Wood, Bamboo and Laminate Flooring. Sanding, varnishing and finishing of existing floorboards, also undertaking any sub-floor repair work required ie screeding and repairing joists etc.
We can supply a wide selection of bespoke rugs and runners to our customers, made from the carpet and binding of your choice.
