The company was established by our current MDs father - Ken Malin. The first two years were taken up with small cleaning works using steam cleaners and a 4000psi drain cleaning unit. Some hydro blasting works were undertaken at BIP, Albright and Wilson, Dunlop and Holden Surface Coating. Ken set up on his own after working for Neolith, based in Rugby. He continued his working relationship with them by hiring their machines. Our current MD - David Malin joined the business and contributed to further expansion with addition of two Hughes jetting units, giving a major pressure increase by being able to work at 10,000psi.
Whether you would like us to provide a full works package for hydrodemolition, including provision of water using tanker jetting units and waste water treatment, or you would like us to carry out the cleaning of an industrial tank, rubber lining removal or cleaning of dryer drum panels, we have the capability. Prior to entering into the hydrodemolition field back in 1985, we were already working within the industrial sector, carrying out tank cleaning & pipe cleaning projects using high pressure water.
In addition to our tanker jetting units for the provision of water, we are also able to organise the discharge of the run-off water after the jetting operation. Using our contacts and knowledge we are able to remove what can be a difficult part of the planning process from the client and save them both the time and frustration involved. Following the hydrodemoltion of concrete with high pressure water, the waste water can register PH11 and be clouded by concrete particles. This will make it unsuitable for discharge to land, water or storm drain in some locations.
