Gilbros

Established over a century ago, Gilbros has built a reputation as a trusted provider of professional cleaning solutions across Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Bedfordshire. Our legacy began prior to the Great War, initially supporting ex-servicemen through employment, and has evolved into a family-led business delivering modern and traditional cleaning methods. We specialise in window cleaning using water-fed poles, reach-and-wash systems, and abseiling techniques, alongside comprehensive carpet, office, and specialist cleaning services. Our team combines 100+ years of collective experience with state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring meticulous results for domestic and commercial clients. Accredited by Safecontractor and holding 10m employers and 15m public liability insurance, we prioritise safety, punctuality, and reliability.

With a focus on extending the lifespan of surfaces through deep cleaning and protective treatments, we serve diverse sectors including healthcare, education, and private residences. Our commitment to quality is evidenced by long-standing client relationships, including partnerships with organisations like the South Essex Partnership NHS Trust. We maintain transparency through COSHH compliance, energy-efficient practices, and direct supervisor communication, ensuring every project meets exacting standards. As a locally rooted business, we balance regional expertise with adaptable service schedules to accommodate client needs, from one-off emergencies to routine maintenance.
