Tiverton Carpenters Wood n Head manufacture purpose made joinery in our own Local workshop in Tiverton, Devon, South West. So we dodged the rain today and managed to remove the old door and frame and install a nice bespoke double glazed oak frame and extra wide, fully draught proofed entrance door which is in preparation for wheelchair access. Another happy customer. We were asked to replace a previous repair to the entrance frame work which was left in quite a mess.
Mr Head was in fact Mr Wood's apprentice for another local firm when he was a school leaver and after many happy years working together they decided to set up on their own providing a service of Joinery and Carpentry where by they could supply the Joinery and fit it all within one business thereby simplifying the process for the customer. In 2001 Steve Head's Son, Paul, joined the company who is now a director after the retirement of Mr Wood in 2012, where we decided to keep the well know trading name of Wood n Head.
