At De Gas you can be assured your safety is our top priority, Based in Newtownabbey our engineers are Gas safe registered, insured and fully trained. De Gas specialise in the maintenance and repair of gas boilers and have been in the gas maintenance industry since 1999. The company is owned and managed by Mr Damien O'Rawe, a Corgi/ Gas Safe approved and registered engineer. Damien brings a wealth of Gas experience to the company including a number of years as a British Gas Technical Engineer in the UK.

At De Gas plumbing and heating, our qualified engineers service and repair all Unvented hot water storage cylinders including; Ariston, Megaflo, Santon, Oso, Albion, Range and Heatrae Sadia. We repair leaks and bursts on your pipework, tanks and valves. We can lag your pipework to help prevent frozen pipes in those cold winter months - helping to prevent unwanted repair bills! As part of our service we may give advice where possible on the best way to protect and operate your system to prevent problems arising in future.

At De Gas we are specialists in breakdown, repair and service of all Natural Gas (Phoenix Gas/Firmus Energy) and L.P.G. (bottled/tank gas) appliances; including boilers, back boiler/fire units (bbu), cookers, hobs and fires from all manufacturers including Valor, Magiglo, Baxi fires and Rangemaster, neff and Leisure cooking appliances. We install gas fires to give your home that open fire comfort without all the cleaning out and hassle. We also install the latest gas cookers and hobs which give a better heat control compared to electric hobs.

The average life of a boiler is approximately 10 years after which time it starts to become less efficient and can start to cost you money. Technology and safety features are always improving and safety legislation may also change all of which suggests that new models are more efficient in terms of both money and performance! Put simply, you could be wasting energy and be more at risk of carbon monoxide poisoning by maintaining the use of older, poorly serviced appliances. De gas provided excellent service and advice on all matters regarding my gas boiler.

At De Gas we are focused on safety and quality, We carry out all servicing and annual safety inspections to the highest standards using the latest safety equipment. All Boiler Manufacturers including Vaillant, Ferroli, Baxi and Worcester Bosch recommend servicing boilers at least every 12 months. If this is not carried out it may invalidate your warranty and home insurance, it is also a legal requirement for Landlords and some home-owners i.e. apartments in blocks to be inspected annually and a landlords certificate provided.
