Had an amazing time with our lovely guide Kate climbing Scafell Pike. Was a bit nervous at first seeing as it was our first mountain climb but Kate guided us to the top and back safely with lots of enthusiasm and a nice steady pace. Thanks Kate, we had a fab time & are feeling very proud that we did it :
I have climbed with Mark quite a lot & would highly recommend him as a professional, patient guide. He has also taken my 6 year old daughter climbing.
I highly recommend Mark as a guide. I havent been climbing for years due to health problems so I was a bit nervous about my fitness. Mark was very.
Revisiting the Cresta dels Bardales this afternoon. Access is along a 3km stretch of unsurfaced road from Port de Confrides and starts high in the Serrella mountain range. An easy approach walk leads to Port de Africa and the start of the ridge. Once on the crest the exposure is magnificent and.
Yesterday I was joined by friend Steve for an exploration of the newly equipped Mascarat gorge, Calpe. Being so close to major road links, I had reservations about this one, so was pleasantly surprised to find an amazing canyon where the nearby roads can hardly be heard and they certainly feel miles.
High above the Col de Rates today with wonderful views to the Sierra Ferrer, Bernia, and a distant skyline dominated by the big mountains of the Alicante region
Showing Sophie the ropes today at Toix far Oeste. Here on a pro cycling training camp (which are still allowed), this was a 'rest day' from all those 150km's in the saddle. Having previously climbed indoors, Sophie moved well on the rock and is already keen for bigger adventures
A few hours of climbing at the short and steep crags above Murla. It was far busier than expected, with 5 teams on the crag (it's usually empty). This is a great venue whatever grade you climb, routes start at 3+ and go well into the 8's. As well as the climbing, there is a wonderful view over the Jalon valley to enjoy :-)
