Enquired about an antique runner and London House sent a selection for me to look at in my own home. What I really liked was that I felt under no obligation to make a purchase but I did find one which was perfect for the Hall area.

My partner left his rug on consignment.after hearing nothing for quite some time he contacted the owner who assured him that he would ring back asap. We waited a further 2 weeks and contacted him again. My partner was told that the rug was in London and was offered a paltry sum which we refused but settled on a slightly higher amount as we do not have room for said rug. On collecting the cash my partner was told by the owner on London House Rug Co that they had spent 250 having the rug cleaned. I fail to see why they would do this without consulting with us first.seems to be bad practice. The gentleman in question was abrupt.offhan d and totally lacking in customer service. We certainly would NOT recommend this firm as we feel we have been extremely short changed
