Wood Floor Designs supply engineered oiled oak flooring in several different colours and designs. Real wood is a natural product, and will expand and contract depending on its environment (as with all wood products). Our engineered flooring comprises 3 layers of wood, providing a highly stable product suitable for use throughout the home. Unlike solid floors which can be more susceptible to shrinkage or expansion, engineered boards have a 4mm top layer of finished Oak, a middle layer of Birch and a bottom layer of ply.
