Wilsons Carpets was born and bred in South Yorkshire. In 1968 company founder William Wilson opened a small carpet shop in Thorne to provide the local community with great products, service and competitive prices. Today, that ethos remains, yet the business has now grown to be the largest independent flooring retailer in the region with Over 18 stores across three counties. Wilsons Carpets are one of just five Rotherham based businesses listed in the London Stock Exchange Group's '1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain' report, which identifies the UK's most dynamic and fastest growing small and medium sized enterprises.

Unlike many retailers, we offer artificial grass in five metre widths, as well as the more common 2 metre and 4 metre widths, to help reduce the need for joins in larger areas.
