We began trading in 1986 with our sister company C&S Carpets and Flooring, catering mainly for the commercial flooring industry such as offices and public areas. C&S Carpets and flooring continue to thrive within the commercial flooring sector and can offer any flooring services in these areas. Over the years we have noticed a high demand for domestic flooring, so in 2012 we decided to open Carpet Store (South East) Ltd, which caters only to our domestic clients. Our aim is to provide you with a bespoke and "relaxing" service at the best possible prices.
Laminate flooring gives the appearance of a real wood floor but at a fraction of the cost. It is made by pressing together a photographic image of real wood onto high density fiberboard. The top surface includes a tough wear layer (AC3 - Domestic or AC4 - Commercial) which makes the product less likely to scratch or dent compared to real wood. All our laminate flooring includes an installer friendly clicking system, which enables our highly skilled installers to complete the job with minimum fuss.
We have excellent vinyl flooring ranges that come in a range of styles and finishes. Designs such as timber or stone effect vinyl flooring are a cheaper alternative to the real thing. Furthermore, it comes with better water resistance, slip resistance, durability and insulation properties. Rooms that see heavy foot traffic will also benefit greatly from vinyl flooring. It comes in multiple thicknesses for stronger wear and tear resistance as well as adding comfort and further insulation for your house.
Carpet Tiles provide an economical, hardwearing and versatile alternative floor covering for office, home and leisure applications. Heavily trafficked and damaged areas can be easily replaced by moving tiles around or replacement of the affected tiles, conventional roll carpeting not having this flexibility. Design possibilities are endless using patterns and colours to create totally unique looks. Carpet Tiles are relatively easy to fit and can be installed with a very weak adhesive called takifier which prevents lateral movement without bonding the tiles to the floor thus allowing easy removal and replacement.
