In light of the downturn Jamie started looking for an everyday product that he could promote in a new or more effective way to the general public. 18 months later following extensive research and a chance encounter he decided to venture into carpet retailing. Having already experienced this business from the customer's perspective he realised there was scope for much improvement. Prior to Salisbury Carpet Company, I had a very successful career as a shareholding director of 3 property development companies carrying out work as an interior and landscape designer for private clients.
