Our collection of new Made by HOWE furniture and sublime antiques have been designed and chosen for their exceptional quality and character. Christopher Howe's unique aesthetic and understanding of materials combines these pieces to create enduringly fascinating and comfortable spaces that give a true sense of belonging. We are preoccupied, I would say obsessed with the way things are made. We don't make anything in the 18th Century style unless it is made in the 18th Century way. We do embrace modern techniques when required for commercial projects but we will always make things in the best possible way.

Christopher Howe has sourced antiques from around the globe for their unique provenance, exceptional quality and character for over 30 years. His deep understanding and appreciation for the design and craftsmanship of these antiques has led to a huge inventory of fine old pieces and has informed a diverse and acclaimed collection of new Made by Howe furniture and lighting. Each new design is hand crafted in Britain by our dedicated band of highly skilled and experienced craftsmen. Our Bespoke Made by HOWE collection allows our customers the opportunity to commission furniture to suit their interior, adapting the size, fabric and detailing - making each new piece truly personal.

A modest two up and two down with a double-fronted shop window, slightly tucked away from the Pimlico Road on Bourne Street, served perfectly as a workshop and living space. Originally he and my mother used the space for furniture restoration and gilding but his passion for collecting and his love for the hunt meant it was soon overflowing with furniture and objects, and so HOWE London was born. We lived there, amongst a veritable treasure trove of ever-changing stock; even my bedside table would change from week to week.

For the last 30 years HOWE has been making bespoke furniture for residential and commercial projects in the UK and around the world. We are renowned for our design and quality, using extraordinarily skilled English craftsmen and 30 years of priceless knowledge and experience to produce our furniture, lighting and accessories. We are lucky to have such interesting and discerning clients, including some of the world's leading architects, designers and creative individuals. Our designs can be adapted to suit a range of budgets and specifications, no project is too great or small.

An exciting opportunity for a highly organised, practical and passionate individual to become part of the Made by HOWE team. This full-time role will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day delivery of our main line of furniture. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and a proactive mind-set, with a strong interest in furniture making and craftsmanship to ensure all orders are produced to the very highest standard, through clear designs and quality control, in a cost and time efficient manner.
