Gordon Rigg Garden Centre & Rigg's Farm Shop

Opened in 1988, in response to the growing number of customers at the Todmorden branch and the parking chaos that ensued, this centre has grown from strength to strength and with many extensions and alterations it's now almost as big as the Todmorden centre with free parking for approximately 200 cars. Established in 1945 by Gordon Rigg with a 150 loan for a greenhouse, a shed, a small selection of garden tools and a acre plot of land in Walsden, Gordon Rigg Garden, Home and Leisure has grown considerably, now standing on 5 acres and boasting over 60,000sq ft of shopping area, the majority of which is undercover, with free parking for approximately 300 cars.

Beautiful solar lights to create the perfect mood and ambience in your garden. Gordon Rigg sell a variety of different shaped solar lights suitable for borders or placing on your patio. During the day the lights charge up ready for lighting up your garden in the evening. Each of the lights comes with a rechargeable AA battery built in. These have a long life (several years), but Gordon Rigg sell AA rechargable batteries / cells should yours no longer charge.

Our range of available plants changes weekly and with the seasons, so we'll have the right plant for whatever time of year you wish to enhance your garden. We even maintain a stock of plants during the winter months!

Gordon Rigg Garden Centres has a range of lawn care products that should maintain your lawn to the highest of standards. This range includes Gordon Riggs own Grass Seed. Gordon Rigg Grass Seed With Ryegrass is suitable for heard-wearing back lawns. It is a tougher mix of grass seed to withstand the pressure of children and pets playing on it. Gordon Rigg Grass Seed Without Ryegrass is for luxury front lawns. This grass seed mixture will not withstand the pressure of children playing, but will be admired by the neighbours!
