We provide free surveys and quotations for central heating and boiler installations and replacements. We are not tied to any boiler manufacturers so we can offer impartial advice based purely on how best to meet your requirements. Every home is different in both its construction and how it is used. For every installation, we carry out a full survey and talk to the occupier about how they use the property. Then, taking into account any client preferences, and using our considerable experience, we find the best products, guarantee offers and value for money available.

A recent Gas Safe Register survey found 1 in 6 homes checked had an unsafe gas appliance - with an astonishing 1 in 3 gas fires found to be unsafe. All our servicing is completed by properly trained and registered engineers for a fixed cost, and if we service your appliance we gurantee a rapid response to any breakdowns. Regular servicing is essential to maintain the safe and efficient operation of all gas boilers and fires. Servicing is required annually in most cases, and as well as ensuring the appliance is operating safely, servicing helps to prolong the life of the appliance and keep it running efficiently.

We use the same survey and quotation procedure for boiler replacements as we do for new installations. Boilers generally have a life of between about 10 and 20 years depending on the model and on how they have been used and maintained. Old boilers tend to be inefficient, so cost a lot more to run. If your boiler is old upgrading to a modern condensing one with proper heating controls will provide a much more efficient system resulting in lower energy bills and less carbon emissions. It will also save you money on repairs and maintenance.

We carry out a full and complete range of all the small and large electrical works you might require. This includes installing extra sockets or lights, electric and power showers, ventilation fans, kitchen equipment and so on. We also provide electrics for extensions, lofts, garages, outbuildings and outside areas. When work is finished we will register the changes to your electrical installation for Buildings Regulations. We will explain and demonstrate how to use any new equipment and issue you with a completion test certificate.

We install and replace all types of hot water cylinders and water storage tanks. We repair everything from simple tap leaks to radiators, electric and manual showers, through to leaking mains pipes and boilers. All our engineers are fully trained, experienced and insured with many years experience. We provide, fit and repair everything from high tech wet rooms to ouside taps.

We provide free surveys and quotations for full or partial rewires and give detailed work specifications and fixed cost quotations. Full rewires can be quite disruptive and they are usually best undertaken as part of a major refurbishment or redecorating project. However, with careful organisation and communication they can be completed whilst properties are occupied and in use. Before commencing any full or partial rewire we carry out a full survey and talk to the occupier in detail about what is involved.

Gas safety checks are a very large part of our business and we carry out many hundreds of them every year. Completing them properly requires high levels of expertise, together with knowledge and experience of the huge range of gas appliances now available from hundreds of different manufacturers. We offer fixed costs for Landlords and Homeowners Gas Safety Checks based on the number of gas appliances in a property. A Gas Safety Check - sometimes called a CP12 - is not the same as a gas service. The gas safety check and service are often done together, however, and if this is the case we offer them at much reduced rates.

Some electrical installations, though basically sound, may be in need of some upgrading. For example, a change in regulations could mean a circuit should have RCD protection, or additional circuits or socket outlets may be required. Common types of upgrade work include the fitting of new consumer units, installing additional switches and socket oulets and outside lighting. Each stage of any upgrade work will be carefully explained and before we start we will provide a fixed cost quotation. When works are complete, if required, we will register the work carried out to your electrical installation with Buildings Regulations.

All our engineers are fully trained and experienced in fault finding on all makes of boilers, fires and other gas appliances including high efficiency condensing boilers. We understand that all breakdowns are urgent, especially in winter. If you are a regular customer and have your gas appliance serviced by us we guarantee a rapid response to any breakdown. For all other breakdowns the unique way our business is structured means we will probably still be able to attend promptly. We use the same survey and quotation procedure for boiler replacements as we do for new installations.
