Eastern Counties Pumps Ltd T/A ECP Group was founded by Rory and Josie Dalzell in 1988. We originally commenced trading as Eastern Counties Pumps however, relatively quickly realised that the name Eastern Counties Pumps was in fact a misnomer, as not only do we specialise in pumps, but virtually anything in connection with clean and dirty water. We therefore decided to change our trading name to ECP Group which encompasses: Eastern Counties Pumps, ECP Treatment, ECP Well Sinkers and Borehole Drillers and Garden Systems Irrigation.

We offer a range of quality products for all your irrigation requirements. Drip irrigation systems for beds, borders and containers, pop up sprinklers, garden sprinklers, simple gravity fed systems, green house and polytunnel watering, control equipment, plant controlled watering systems, rainwater harvesting and so much more. We are stockists for the quality Claber and Gardena irrigation products. We offer the Genuine Leaky Pipe porous rubber irrigation hose not to be confused with other inferior leaky pipe hose.

Rainwater Harvesting is not a new concept, but certainly is growing in popularity as many of us are becoming more conscious of how precious clean fresh water is and how expensive it is using mains water for garden irrigation. During periods of heavy rainfall a Rainwater Harvesting system may be far from your mind or even considering garden irrigation, however in times of drought or during the hot summer months the availability of reusing stored rainwater or grey water from baths and showers can make economic sense.

In 2007 we acquired and successfully integrated Garden Systems into the ECP Group portfolio with the aim of offering our clients a full range of services from sinking new wells, drilling new boreholes, to the reinstatement and restoration of existing private water supplies, installation of suitable pumping and water treatment equipment and the design of a fully automated garden irrigation system. If you are uncertain of what equipment you require for your garden irrigation system, then simply send us a plan of your garden or area to be irrigated and we will work out what you need, it really could not be any easier.

Have You Ever Considered the Possibility of Having a Private Water Supply for Your Home or Garden? In East Anglia we are lucky to live in an area where there is an abundance of groundwater, therefore investing in drilling a borehole, or restoration of an existing supply would be a valuable asset. Even though you currently may be obtaining your water from a local authority, it is still feasible and viable to have your own well or borehole for garden irrigation and domestic use. The main advantages of a private water supply are that the water is free of chlorine and fluorides and up to approximately 4400gpd (20 cubic meters) can be abstracted for domestic use without a license being required.

We have been supplying, installing and servicing all type of water pumps for many years. Our technical and hands on expertise allow us to design, provide and install a pumping system which is especially tailored to meet with your chosen application, together with the complete range of well and borehole pump accessories, from simple foot valves to sophisticated electronic control equipment. Our guarantee is to ensure that the recommended system offered is the correct pumping system for the task in hand.

We drill new boreholes, sink new wells and refurbish existing private water supplies, for household use and garden irrigation. Are you aware that legally you are able to abstract up to 4400gpd (20,000 litres per day) from you wells, boreholes, stream other private water supply without requiring an absraction licence? If you wish to use your wells or boreholes for domestic household use then we will take water samples and submit these to a laboratory for analysis. We will then interpret the results and advise on any necessary water treatment filters required, so as to ensure that the supply is safe for household use.

What's new?

The COVID-19 Virus is causing major disruption and at this moment in time extreme anxiety for what the future may hold. As we provide a vital service for private water supplies we are still open for business. Naturally we have taken measures to help protect our workforce and clients.
