We specialise in period door furniture and have a comprehensive range of quality period door knockers and period door knobs which include reproduction Georgian and Victorian door knobs and door handles, as well as Edwardian and Arts and Crafts style period door and window furniture. Here at The Period Ironmonger, our aim is to provide Quality Door, Window and Cabinet Furniture for Period Properties at competitive prices. Croft offer a wide range of window fittings to suit Sash and Casement Windows as well as furniture to suit Fanlights, Shutters and even the new Espagnolette style of window fitting. If you have Casement Windows, choose from the traditional casement fastener to the a sleek and convenient Night Vent Fastener before finishing off with a Casement Stay. We also have Sliding Stays and those suitable for inward opening windows. If you have children at home and are worried about them being able to open and fall out of windows, many of our sash and casement fittings are available in locking versions.

We are lucky to work with an amazing British glass artisan who designs and crafts beautiful handmade glass door knobs and cupboard knobs. Our beautiful handmade door knobs are all mounted on a concealed rose so there are no screws visible, giving them a really stylish look and making them suitable for both period and contemporary homes.

Our Bespoke Projects started as we were often asked to help match new door, window and interior furniture to existing period originals. Sometimes it was just matching to an existing finish, sometimes we needed to get an existing design modified or tweaked and on a few occasions, we have needed to get something custom made. Our involvement in these projects has meant we have built up great collaborative working relationships with British manufacturers and finishers that can help us to provide a truly bespoke service to our clients.
