SBS Electrical was established in 1972 by the 3 partners, Stephen Wilkinson, Barrie Bamford and Stephen Crane, and the name SBS came from the first names of the 3 partners. The initial work came from Domestic/Commercial Sector, with work on housing estates for local builders, and domestic rewires our main work, but drawing on the skills of the partners, who had worked for several years in the control panel design and manufacturing industry, SBS quickly moved onto Industrial /Commercial installations.
