External Wall Insulation: Our lightweight park home insulation system combines the amazing thermal properties of premium thick Neopor panels with a maintenance free, multi-layered render coating to wrap you home in warmth. Underfloor Insulation: Our no-mess underfloor insulation system comprises a 40mm thick quilted material, manufactured right here in the UK, consisting of aluminium foil, wadding and high density foam. We have a system that has been developed over many years, with qualified surveyors and skilled installers who will care for your home.

Insulated Homes has been providing external wall insulation since 2009, with a skilled director who has worked in the park home industry for many years prior to that and who understands the unique construction and vulnerabilities of park homes. Insulated Homes work with individual park home residents and councils to provide external wall insulation and other energy efficiency measures. We have a system that has been developed over many years, qualified surveyors and installers who will care for your home and skilled customer services who operate to ISO9001 standards to support you through the process.

Our qualified advisors have years of experience surveying park homes for external wall insulation and when they visit you will conduct a thorough survey of your home in line with PAS2030, QICA and Insulated Homes requirements.

Due to the construction of a park home, traditional windows offer the wrong profile. Simply put, the chunky 90mm frames of house windows are too big for your thin 60mm park home walls. If you allow an installer to put in a window meant for a traditional house, it will stick out from your home and allow water to creep in around it which can rot the framework and then your ply walls. Insulated Homes are a specialist park home installer and only install "odleg" windows which are narrow and not only will fit your walls snugly but also have a 30mm rubber lip on the outer edge of the pvc frame which seals to your external ply skin and guarantees no water intrusion.

Insulated Homes are a specialist multi award-winning and accredited installer of External Wall Insulation (EWI). External Wall Insulation is used on homes such as park homes that cannot have cavity wall insulation. Sometimes referred to as solid wall insulation, External Wall Insulation is fixed to your outside walls adding a deep layer of insulation to your home that warms and protects. Our Park Home insulation is a multi-layered system comprising of a thick, warming, Neopor insulation panel that is fixed to the outside of your home in sections with a multi-layered render on top that dries to form a rock hard coating in the colour of your choice.

Our specially designed kitchens are optimised to fit the limited space that park homes provide. Our surveyor will visit your park home, discuss your requirements and help you to turn the kitchen of your dreams into reality. With our space-saving suggestions and budget-busting ideas, you can have the kitchen you have always wanted with extra storage, enough worktop space and a stylish finish right at the heart of your park home. We can convert a spare bedroom into an en-suite, add a completely new room, expand your existing bathroom or just modernise your existing space.

Park Homes can typically lose 25% of their heat through their roof as they are usually only insulated with 75mm of rockwool. Over time this sags, mats and provides little, if any thermal benefit or heat retention. This is why we use the same Neopor insulation panels in your roof void as we do when putting external wall insulation on your home. Neopor panels provide extremely efficient insulation and will not deteriorate over time. The roof void in a park home must be well ventilated to allow air circulation and which prevents condensation, Our Neopor is ony 60mm thick so still allows a large gap of air in your roof void for air to circulate.

Park Home Painter from Insulated Homes offers a quality Resitex paint system for your park home walls and roof. Resitex wall coating is specially formulated to create a flexible, tough, decorative, breathable barrier between the structure of your home and the elements, keeping your home protected and preventing deterioration. Manufacturers recommend that if you don't fit external wall insulation, park homes should typically be painted every three to four years, depending where you live. Resitex Roof Coating is a tough, flexible thermoplastic weather-proof coating with excellent water repellent properties.

One of our experienced, professional surveyors will visit your home and work with you to design improvements. We will be right beside you from turning your ideas into designs and right through to making them happen. We can replace your guttering system, soffits and fascia and complete your home with a stone-effect skirt. We can repair, clean, seal or replace your roof with a lightweight, insulated Metrotile roof. We can replace your windows and doors with thermally-efficient, upvc Argon-filled units.

The key to our system is our 100% recyclable grey Neopor Premium EPS insulation panels. These panels are not the standard white poly boards used by many installers and work in a different way. The boards are made from graphite impregnated polystyrene beads that are fused together using just steam. The graphite improves the thermal efficiency greatly as well as absorbing and reflecting heat. It is also non-toxic as well as being mould and fire resistant. Years ago, we used the cheaper white poly boards but it is important to put a product on that is going to insulate your home well.

What's new?

I know it's a terrible picture, but one of the squirrels that live in the office roof took a nap in the sun on my window cill. Just after this was taken it slid off in slow motion with it's little paws scrabbling and flailing. It was fine, just climbed back up and dozed off. I promise I didn't laugh!
