Welcome to Brighton Carpenter, the trading name for Matthew Legg, an independent carpenter & joiner based in Brighton, East Sussex. I have over 20 years experience, a formal qualification in carpentry & joinery and have been working in my home town of Brighton since 2002. I am able to undertake all aspects of carpentry such as flooring, staircases, kitchen fitting, and door hanging. I specialise in high end finished work with an eye for detail and enjoy designing and installing fitted wardrobes, alcove units and bespoke kitchens.

I design and instal modern, shaker style and traditional wardrobes and alcove cupboards. The fronts can also be professionally spray painted for a long lasting and perfect finish. Fitted cupboards can make the most of your space, maximising storage to fit your items perfectly and adding value to your property. I have probably fitted over 100 sets of wardrobes and alcove units in Brighton now.

I have over 20 years experience fitting kitchens, working with Ikea, Wickes, Howdens, B and Q, and Benchmarx kitchens, understanding each manufactures requirements. I can project manage the entire fitting or simply instal your units and worktops if you prefer to organise other trades. I specialise in bespoke and semi bespoke kitchens. Your entire kitchen can be made to measure for a beautiful and unique end product. It is also possible to use pre-made unit shells and hand make all the fronts and trims to create a bespoke kitchen with out the large price tag.
