As an Independent Decorators Merchants, Rabart Decorating Centres are unique, as in each branch we are able to offer a wide selection of products to our customers from a variety of suppliers. Davies of Bath was acquired by Rabart Decorating Merchants in 2001 and it is situated at Monmouth Place in Bath. This shop has been in existence for many years and we were keen to preserve the history of the shop which has been at this location for over 80 years. We stock most major paints brands, including designer, industrial & specialist finishes for all types of substrate, alongside an extensive range of decorating sundries and products. Unlike in most major high street outlets, our staff in Bath will take the time to sit with customers and discuss colour schemes, fabrics and wallpapers as we understand how important it is for you to make the right choice for your home.

As part of our wider waste management and environmental policy, we currently recycle as much waste as we can at each of our branches. These materials are separated into their various waste streams and are passed on to third parties for recycling accordingly. Like any business, we generate a percentage of waste that is not suitable for recycling and this is collected and disposed of in line with the local area's waste disposal policy. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and we are always looking for initiatives, partners and products that can support this.

Rupert Alan Bush initially started a painting and decorating firm called R.A. Bush Decorators in 1954 and 30 years later, Rabart Decorators Merchants was founded in Merthyr Tydfil by Rupert's sons, Alan and Stuart Bush. With the brothers' experience in the paint trade and with the help of Peter Fear who was appointed as General Manager in 1984, the business has developed and grown.
