At AGI Landscapes we have over 25 years experience of designing and building beautiful gardens for clients throughout the UK. Whilst we now concentrate on garden design and consultancy, we work in close partnership with landscapers to transform our designs into reality. The most rewarding part of the design process is seeing how amazed and overwhelmed our clients are with the transformation of their outdoor space. We provide our garden design consultancy services to both private and commercial clients, and are tailored to your requirements.

Like an individual, a garden is unique and reflects the owner's personality. Garden design is about creating an outside space that works best for the people who are going to use it. Whilst there are numerous styles of garden such as formal, contemporary, country, etc. one particular style may not fit a client's requirements, and a blend of styles may be more appropriate. When designing a garden we understand the importance of listening and working with customers to create a space that suits the their individual needs.

This is a midway meeting with yourself and the designer before finalising the plans. We will produce concept drawings in pencil and to scale showing the proposed layout of the borders, terrace, features, paths etc. The concept drawing which also give options of any hard landscaping materials to be used. At this stage if you wish to make any changes this is the perfect opportunity before the plans are finalised. AGI Landscapes have designed and constructed numerous gardens for customers, who have been overwhelmed with the transformation of their outdoor space.

In certain cases the local planning authority may require scaled and detailed plans of your landscape scheme showing position of hedges, trees, walls etc. If required this can be a prerequisite of getting planning approval. We will conduct a site visit with yourself and ask for copies of any architects plans and surveys that you have had completed. With this information we will discuss with you your requirements for the landscape scheme. We can then proceed to the creation of scaled landscape plans which will detail all relevant information required to get planning approval.

Having gathered feedback on the design concepts I will then use this information to finalise the design. This will lead to a scaled design showing the layout of the borders, terraces, paths etc. Any level changes will be clearly marked on the plan. The design will also provide details of selected hard landscaping materials, and provide sufficient information for a landscape contractor to quote and work from. A meeting with the designer will be scheduled, in which you will be presented with a hard copy of the final design and taken through the plan.
