We are a family run painting and decorating company situated in the heart of the Harrogate residential district that carries out all types of decorating work. Although skilled in the renovation or restoration of older houses in the classic design, we have carried out work on all types of properties from exclusive apartments to new builds, extensions and terraced houses. Chris started his decorating career in 1982 and over the years has earned a reputation for providing a top quality finish. This is only made possible by putting a lot of time and effort into preparation before using the best quality materials to give you an outstanding results.
There is no secret to a great decorating job, all it involves is the 3 p?s; Prepare, Prime, Paint. We do not skip any of the preparation and we only use the best sundries for this task. There are a whole array of fillers out there to use but we only use the correct fillers, not the cheapest, so we get the best results. With the priming and painting we only use Johnstone's paint. I have used every brand of paint available in my 32 years of decorating, but in my opinion, none of the others can match Johnstone's paint for quality, durability or value for money.
Chris Green undertook the decoration of both the Fat Badger and White Hart tea rooms. I had a very tight time line and Chris and his team pulled out all the stops under difficult circumstances to get the job done. I have to say that I'm delighted with the outcome and wouldn't hesitate in recommending him. We have used Chris and his team to decorate the whole of our house. This involved stripping every room and then returning to prepare and decorate after the builders had been in to skim every room.
