In this modern age we receive numerous email's for the re-finishing and repair of modern and retro furniture, be it water damage, sunlight fading or complete re-finishing of old and tired surfaces. The approach can sometimes be the same as French polishing or the repairing of an antique piece however other finishes are usually applied. Currently there's quite a resurgence of oiled finishes. A sensible approach to recycle and re-new can benefit your wallet and the environment as well. Unfortunately this chiffonier and desk had seen significant water damage. The house had flooded when the owners were away on holiday. Upon their return the furniture had grown mould as well as swollen, lifting veneers and much, much more.
