Since 2014 HERE+NOW has been demonstrating how co-design results in places which are enjoyed, respected and valued, while also being easier to manage and deliver. We are passionate about the restorative, healing potential of well designed landscapes, and always deliver landscape designs which offer the fullest potential of a place's assets and resources. We value the expertise of the local community, and we respect the natural environment's ecosystem services. Combined, people and nature make places which sustain.
HERE+NOW set out to change the way things are done in landscape architecture. Three co-founders - Liz, Jenny and Lisa set up the Community Interest Company (CIC) in 2014 to offer a more inclusive way to design places through co-design. Since then, we've seen signs that HERE+NOW has done what it set out to do; our tools and techniques are well published, referenced, used and adapted by practitioners across the built environment sector. Nowadays, Jenny works as a researcher and Lisa is a high school art teacher.
