A man driving a J & A Groundworks Ltd van almost hit me whilst I was riding my horse this afternoon. He was driving way over the speed limit of 30 mph and on his hand held mobile phone which was obviously why he didn't see me despite me wearkng hi viz! He then slowed down gave me a load of abuse which was witnessed by a number of people walking up the road.
A man driving a J & A van was chatting away on a handheld mobile while speeding up Hungerford High street this evening. He didn't notice me waiting at the crossing and had to slam on the brakes so that I could walk across without being mowed down. Then he started pulling away before I'd even got half way across the road. Don't recommend.
