About the project: Brunel Street Works is one of the largest regeneration sites underway in the capital. A vibrant new urban quarter delivered on a complex site, this high-profile regeneration project is revitalising a Greater London Authority (GLA) disused site, close to a major transport hub, providing 975 mixed-tenure homes and commercial space and linking a new neighbourhood with Canning Town.

This was our first encounter with John Watson Doors and it was a pleasure to work with Garrie Day.

I am pleased take we are going to be ordering the doors for Platt school from you, as I was really impressed with the quality of the doors you supplied to us at Southborough, they are properly the best doors we have had on site for a long time.

The door was damaged.
Dented door and frame showing chips, scratches and gouges that seems to be under the paint meaning it was there before the door was painted at the factory.
The door looks cheap and tacky, the frame is over sized so I catch my knuckles on it each time I use my keys.
The wooden frame is a joke as who still uses wood in this day and age.
The door looks more worn than my old one, is less strong than my old one due to the soft wood frame and to be honest already has splits after only been up a month and are only growing.
I have zero faith in the door's security due to the frame and with gaps up to 0.2cm running up the door 40cm.
The cheap frame seems to be twisting as well which is why most people don't use wood.
It will other less protection than my old door both against fire and break in's.

John Watson doors is a company that makes cheap looking and somewhat tacky doors that belong on garden sheds and not houses, spend the extra money and hire someone else.

Top place, top staff. Fast service will use again
