When compared to a traditional timber door, a PVC-U door offers better insulation and is therefore more energy efficient. It is virtually maintenance free and because it is 100% waterproof, it is perfectly stable and secure. Each of our doors are manufactured onsite and are complimented using a high security door lock, which features our unique 12 point locking system. The doors are extremely strong, streamlined and have adjustable hinges and hook-bolts to keep your home secure. To add greater security, the hinges, locks and keeps are fixed directly into the door's steel reinforcement.

We exclusively use PVC-U from one supplier to manufacture your conservatory, windows and doors. CR Windows install a complete range of soffit boards that perfectly complement our fascias. These high-quality components give your roofline an attractive, clean-edged finish and are available in a range of colours. You can choose a standard utility board, vented Eurosoffit boards or lightweight hollow soffit boards. Our range of stylish soffits will enhance any home and are available in colours and styles to suit all tastes. Boards are easy to fit and are fully compatible with our fascia systems for an exact colour match.

Our factory is situated directly adjacent to the showroom. We employ all local staff, some of whom have been with CR Windows for over twenty five years. While other companies choose to "buy in" their products, we have complete control over what we are installing into your home. One opening window will be used as the "master first opening window" so therefore it is not necessary to open both windows at the same time. A composite door is an exterior door that is made from a multitude of materials including PVC, insulating foam and GRP (glass reinforced plastic). By using all of these products, we can offer you a product that is extremely strong, durable, and is easy to maintain while also being weather resistant and secure. We can offer you a range of styles to suit either a front or back door as well as a wide choice of glazing options including bevels and leaded designs. To further enhance your home's appearance and to allow more light in, we can add side or top lights to your new door.

They can help to capture the classic stylish look without the risk of draught. They provide much improved energy/heat retention and sound-proofing in comparison to existing box sash windows. The modern double glazing coupled with our unique security feature also means that your home is secure. Our box sash windows are unique in the fact that both window sashes will also tilt inwards as well as slide vertically allowing to be cleaned from inside your home but also allowing a greater flow of air inside when the summer arrives.

The doors are available to open in two different ways. Inward openings allow you to make the most of your patio space; whereas outward openings will give you a maximum use of indoor areas. Our outward opening doors are manufactured onsite by us with 90 degree restrictors to ensure safety in high winds. The restrictors can also be easily overriden to allow the doors to fold back fully if there are no obstructions. There is an option to choose opening handles on both doors with one being the master door - the door to open first.
