Nellie K produces beautiful, bespoke furniture to order; footstools; dressing table stools; benches; sofas; and chairs. All our furniture is hand upholstered by me (Sarah) and all fabrics are chosen and sourced to meet the particular wishes of each individual customer. I also produce new items of furniture and can also recondition and reupholster existing furniture frames.
Nellie K was launched in 2014 and is run by me (with a little help from my husband and children). I make bespoke, upholstered furniture including, footstools, dressing table stools, benches and chairs for private and commercial clients. Nellie K is named after my great grandmother (pictured), a tiny, formidable woman who believed in hard work, tough love and good honest food. A former mill worker, she founded a family grocery business in which three generations of our family worked.
I was very lucky to win a 'Manc' bag and cushion though a Facebook competition with Nellie K, I cannot express how beautifully and carefully all the products are made, you are absolutely fantastic at what you do! Once again, thank you so much, it is an absolute pleasure to have some of your work! X
