Nicky Cash is the designer behind Done up North and she creates unique, one-off statement pieces for sale and by commission for clients across the country. Her particular specialism is working with Early to Mid Century furniture transforming them with high quality Modern finishes and distinctive, original Geometric designs.
I went along to one of Nicky's workshops at Chirpy in Chapel Allerton. Had a great evening learning her tips and tricks whilst painting a wooden box (which was packed full of freebies!). Would definitely recommend it!
Went to one of Nicky's painting box classes last week at Chirpy in LS7. Really enjoyed it, you get a fab little box to design, paint and keep and a few other samples to take home. Nicky and Jo are very friendly and welcoming. Great class, lovely evening, highly recommend.
Loving Nicky's attention to detail & her beautiful work. I love both the chair which I commissioned for her to redesign for me & the bureau I bought from her & can't wait to see what pattern she creates on the new piece she's working on for me.
