In that period, the hifi industry has pretty much changed out of all recognition. So of course has the technology. But the basics of what constitutes a good sound - and the stages it takes to get there - have remained pretty much the same. The standard of service MAX customers are offered has been pretty consistent as well. I'd like to suggest it's got better actually, but perhaps that's not for me to say. Gratifyingly though, I have customers who've been sourcing their equipment from MAX since the day the doors opened for the first time.
John knows his stuff, and has a great historic knowledge of most hi end brands and products, a pleasure to deal with on all levels.a mine of knowledge and sets up a turntable with expert aplomb. One of the old school, where sound quality rules.
