We specialise in products for Advanced Lighting Controls, Smart Building Controls and connectivity solutions for fuel and C-Store retailing, all based around open technologies. Established in 1997, we design, develop and manufacture our products in the UK and EU and back these with first-class support and training. You'll find our products in major airports, bank headquarters, commercial offices, universities and schools, as well as thousands of filling stations and convenience stores across Europe.

Calon was founded in 1997 as a technology consultancy, developing open control products for others and providing specialist controls consultancy and troubleshooting services. By 2001, Calon started to develop its own product range and it was in this year that Calon saw its first involvement in lighting controls, with the roll out of a system of a remotely-managed lighting control system to over 600 filling stations and convenience stores in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe, believed to be a first for an IP-based managed lighting solution.
