Something a little bit different. Restoring a couple of lights for a customer.
Some recently installed additional downlights in a kitchen. Trying to work with the previous installers random pattern to get it all to flow nicely through the room.
This customer had just one upfront RCD protecting all of their circuits and was regularly having it trip due to small earth leakage over multiple circuits. To rectify this, they opted for a new consumer unit, metal clad, with surge protection and individual circuits now protected by RCBO's.
Saturday morning emergency call out in a phone shop in Camborne. No power due to faulty contactor. Issue resolved and they are back open for business!
