This garden's borders were planted in June. The client is a skilled and attentive gardener and the new plants are reaping the benefit. The sunken terrace, paved area outside the conservatory and the path along the house were completed earlier this year. The client wanted to retain the existing.
I visited a garden today that I planted more than 3 years ago. It is looking rather good. Some maintenance issues need tackling and, as always with a garden, there are some alterations and replanting to do but, overall, I am very pleased and the customer is very happy with the overall effect.
I have a lot of gardens to catch up on and I hope to be getting out and about to photograph them over the next few weeks. These roses are in my own garden. Rosa 'Graham Thomas' (yellow), Rosa 'Gertrude Jekyll' (darker pink) and Rosa 'The Generous Gardener' all looking wonderful and giving off.
These are shots from two different gardens I planted in 2013 showing two types of allium to particularly good effect.
