The service we offer is a clean and efficient using both traditional brush and vacuum service and power sweeping with a smoke test after each sweep, ensuring your chimney or wood burning stove is clean and safe to use. On the rare occasion we find a problem we will tell you immediately and offer advice on how to rectify the problem, we won't try to blind you with science. We are a professional Bristol based chimney sweeping company registered with SweepSafe and HETAS as approved Sweeps & Installers and as such are fully insured to undertake the work we carry out.
So what are we all about? Based in Bristol. Ian originally comes from an Engineering and General Building background but left the industry to pursue other career options and worked for Aviva Insurance UK for 10 years as an operations manager in a customer service role. When I moved to a new property with an open fireplace I thought - 'Great we'll enjoy the benefits of having a nice roaring fire during the cold winter nights. Having small children I wanted to make sure that everything was in order with the chimney and in compliance with our home insurance.

Came for a sweep and cleared a trapped pigeon at the same time, no extra cost. Professional, friendly and polite; brought all the kit to make sure the soot made it no further than the hearth. Didn’t even have to vacuum afterwards! Highly recommended.

Cannot recommend Ian more highly. Today he has swept five chimneys at our Georgian, four storey home in the centre of Bristol; fitted six chimney caps and two cowls and left us five and a half hours later as clean and tidy as before the job began! Personable, prompt service from someone that was happy to explain what he was doing and why - thus giving every confidence that our home is safe and we can enjoy open fires in the designated rooms.
